At Deis’ Care, we believe that a child’s behavior, no matter the diagnosis or influence, should be be shaped by both clinical care and by the word of God.
We offer Behavior Consultations that are clinically driven and biblically sound.
Through close consultation with parents, caregivers, school leadership and other involved parties, we provide interventions, analysis and recommendations that are tailored toward the individual child and their specific needs. With years of clinical expertise and biblical study, we are well equipped to provide consultations geared toward both behavior modification and spiritual development.
What is Behavior Modification?
Behavior modification is by definition, the field of psychology that is concerned with analyzing and modifying human behavior. It is a treatment approach based on the principles of operant conditioning and it’s goal is to replace undesirable behaviors with more desirable ones through positive or negative reinforcement.
What is Spiritual Development?
At Dei’s Care, we believe that spiritual development is increasing reliance upon the promises of God’s Word and the willing participation of the individual believer in submission to Christ. The goal is to increase in Christlikeness as defined by 2nd Peter 1:4-8:
“He has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ”

- Modeling and Direct Therapy: This is a hands on implementation and modeling of therapeutic techniques, practice skills, progress monitoring etc.

- Biblical responses to specific situations.
